Meet The Business Owner

Jennifer

Owner

I am very grateful to have the chance to build a successful business from my passion for pets! I grew up with dogs, cats, fish and the occasional caged pet. When I got involved with Great Pyrenees I realized I wanted my passion to be more than a hobby.

I was attracted to pet sitting far before I became a business owner. Many years ago I sought out a professional sitter for my own pets. I knew my dogs would not be happy in a boarding situation and I wanted the security of someone coming to my home on a regular basis. I also had pets who required medication and I wanted their regular routines preserved in my absence. My deep appreciation of having a convenient and reliable pet sitter led to my intention to own a pet care business. I couldn’t imagine my life without my pet sitter all those years and I wanted to offer that same peace of mind to my clients.

Please meet our team of experienced, trained employees.

Natalie

Natalie

Natalie has never known a home without pets. From childhood to adulthood, she has acknowledged the dogs, cats, turtles and hamsters to be equal members of the family to their human counterparts; often referred to as “brothers” and “sisters” by Natalie’s parents. From Texas to DC, Baltimore to New York City and, now, Detroit- she has always been accompanied by a fur family. Today that family includes her cheerful, affectionate Sheltie and a rescued tabby cat. Woof’n Purr is Natalie’s first professional pet sitting experience. The quality of her work is guided by her own experience as a pet parent and the reassurance having a trusted pet care specialist provided her when her career was at its busiest. Natalie loves pet care work for the excitement each pet displays when she arrives to a client’s home. She enjoys the exercise and time outdoors as well. Natalie is a nursing student and in her free time she is learning the guitar, enjoys spends time with family and friends, traveling and binge watches documentaries.

I joined the Woof’n Purr team in the fall of 2018 and have been working daily for the company ever since. My passion for animals started when I was young, and I have owned many pets throughout my life- including large and small dogs, cats, and rodents. When not working, I am a fur-mom to 3 of my own, an English Shepherd named Tate, and two kitties, Mira and Shadow. You could say my life is dedicated to caring for animals! Nothing makes me happier than being able to bring joy to and enrich the lives of our pets, and that’s why I choose to do what I do. You can be assured your animal(s) will always receive personalized and loving care with me.
